a mid-ocean ridge. The vertical axis represents water depth and the horizontal
axis shows the distance along the ridge during a Tow-Yo (Slide 3). The
bright green/yellow areas show the regions with large concentrations of
hydrothermal plume. The strongest particle signals are found directly over
the hydrothermal vents.
