Perhaps the bird with the most impressive flying skills is the blue-footed booby. These are the most common booby in the islands and fish mostly near islands. When mating, the boobies perform a unique dance, which shows off their brilliant blue feet. They spread their wings, point their tails and beaks to the sky, and whistle. (Photo by Rob Otto, 2001)
