Uta Peckman carefully labels one of the hundreds of video tapes containing the recorded Argo II and DSL-120 data. On every Argo II watch, we collect six 2 hour video tapes, and 2 data tapes containing sensor and electronic still camera data. On every DSL-120 watch, we collect one sonar data tape. You can see that with so many tapes, organizing and labeling them is very important. When we get back to our labs on shore, we must be able to find everything easily. It is also important so that future scientists can use it for other experiments. Maybe someday, one of those scientists will be you!
