PJ Bernard (left) and Bob “Yogi” Elder prepare Argo II for its first lowering at this study site. Yogi is holding the end of the fiber optic cable that attaches to the Argo II vehicle. All of the power and data telemetry goes through these thin wires. It’s an amazing feat of technology!
