Maps are important tools at sea, even if you have no need to know what's beneath you. But especially when you're traveling in three dimensions, as we are on Expedition 7, a wide variety of maps is essential. The next seven slides will show a small selection of the types of maps we use in order to maximize efficiency and flexibility at sea.
