Happy birthday, John! John Boing is the Electrician on board RV Melville. He is responsible for keeping the power running to all parts of the ship. With a complex ship like the Melville, imagine the maze of wiring that is needed both for normal ship operations and to run the equipment for the science program. In our case, John provided all the power connections needed to hook up the Control Van and Traction Winch for the DSL-120 and Argo II vehicles. Thanks for your help, John!
