The DSL-120 sonar fish comes to the surface just before it is recovered on deck. It did a great job of imaging the seafloor these last three days. We look forward to using it to collect more sonar data that can tell us about seafloor lava eruptions at our upcoming survey area on the East Pacific Rise near 3° 20’N latitude.
