After a three day steam, Knorr’s Captain AD Colburn (with binoculars) and Chief Mate Kent Sheasley direct the ship into Port Louis, on the west side of the island of Mauritius (rhymes with ‘delicious’). The scientists and crew will spend three days on the island - but not at the beaches and lagoons. They will be unloading supplies and setting up labs for their hydrothermal vent research.
