Flattened pillow lava on the floor of the Galapagos Rift valley near 97° 45’W Longitude imaged by the Benthos digital camera on Argo II (all the images of the seafloor shown in today’s slide show were taken with this camera). The bottom of the photo is about 4 meters across.
