We had three Ecuadorian observers on board RV Melville during our short cruise to Fernandina Island. They included: Mr. Washington Llerena (left) from the Charles Darwin Research Station, Ms. Essy Marlene Santana of INOCAR (The Ecuadorian Naval Oceanographic Institute), and Mr. Schubert Stalin Lombeida Manjarrez, of the Galapagos National Park Service. They got off the ship with CDs and complete map sets of the bathymetric and other data we collected during the past three days.
