Roca Redonda reflecting the pink light of
sunset this evening. This tiny island is the tip of a submarine
volcano north of Isabela Island. We have mapped the flanks of this
feature and can see that landslides that have cut away at the volcano's
sides so that all that remains is a 40 m-high rock above the ocean.
The name means round (‘redonda’) rock in Spanish.
