Dan, Jim, Jerry and Ed prepare the grab sampler for a quick trip to the seafloor. This device is designed to crash into the rocks on the seafloor and snap shut, thus "grabbing" a sample. After it has hit bottom, it is hauled back up to the deck of Atlantis.
