Each Saturday, we have a Fire and Boat Drill to go over what to do if there is a fire or we have to abandon ship. The crew practices how they would respond to different emergencies. Dave Murline, Melville’s First Mate, is in charge of checking everyone is present and accounted for. Despite the heat, Dave always wears his fuzzy hat.
