Liz McCliment sits inside Alvin and checks her computer as they descend to the seafloor. Because the inside of Alvin is only two meters (about six feet) in diameter, it is hard to take a photo without other people’s feet getting in the picture! That’s Craig’s foot in the bottom left corner.
